Meg Kane
Meg Kane's professional experience is rooted in high impact and high-pressure projects, which notably includes her previous role as the co-lead of strategic communications for the 2015 visit of Pope Francis to Philadelphia.
Today, Meg serves as Host City Executive/CEO for Philadelphia Soccer 2026, the non-profit, which successfully won the City of Philadelphia’s bid to host FIFA World Cup 2026™. Since joining the effort in 2019, Meg has served as the liaison between the City, partners/venues, and FIFA. Now, Meg leads the Host City Committee, which is responsible for ensuring the successful hosting of six (6) World Cup matches, FIFA Fan Festival™, welcoming 500,000+ visitors to Philadelphia in summer 2026, and building a legacy of this once-in-a-generation sporting event.
