Warren Moore
Warren J. Moore, a Memphis, TN native, attended Purdue University on a full athletic scholarship and he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in 2002. After graduation, he joined Walmart Stores, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, as a practicing pharmacist. Over time, his career ascended from Staff Pharmacist to Pharmacy Manager, and soon into management where he held several key positions in both Field and Home Office leadership. From 2018 to 2021, he managed day-to-day operations for 690 pharmacies across the US as Vice President of Neighborhood Pharmacy Operations, which included leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, Walmart’s CEO Doug McMillon appointed Moore to lead the company’s Health Shared Value Network, aiming to improve health outcomes for the Black and African American Community. His successful leadership in this role led to his promotion to Vice President of Social Determinants of Health Actions in November 2021 where he successfully established a new line of business focused on achieving health equity in Food and Nutrition Security, Maternal and Infant Health, and Prevention & Treatment of Cardiometabolic Diseases.
In April 2023, Moore transitioned from healthcare to his current role as Vice President of Dedicated Delivery in Walmart's End-to-End organization. He now oversees InHome Delivery Operations, Drone Delivery Operations, and the development of Delivery Stations and Last Mile Delivery Vans.
Moore's impressive 22-year career has been recognized with awards including Regional/Divisional Community Pharmacist of the Year, Regional/Divisional Pharmacy District Manager of the Year, Health and Wellness Leadership Award Recipient, and Purdue University College of Pharmacy Distinguished Alumni Inductee.
