LaNita King

LaNita King is the Senior Director of Programs at Demand Justice where she manages the Demand Justice Institute (DJI) program. DJI is a state-based educational & networking program for promising attorneys who have placed the fight for justice & equality at the center of their careers & who may be interested in becoming judges in the future. Prior to joining Demand Justice, she served as the Senior Program Manager for the Groundwork Collaborative, where she conducted focus-group type convenings with community leaders, organizers, activists, & academics across the country to better understand how local progressive leaders conceive of the economy & view it in the context of their own social and economic justice work. LaNita served in several other positions . She is a native of CA.
