Crisis or Catalyst? Courts, Communities, & Our Democracy

Mar 10, 2025

2:30pm – 3:30pm CT

The courts play an essential role in protecting the rights of people and democracy. Yet, extremists have sought to weaponize the law in federal and state courts, seeking to replicate the US Supreme Court’s reversal of reproductive rights and weakening of civil and voting rights leveled on communities nationwide. Will the courts protect people and democracy in 2025? Will the next 25 years be a catalyst for change? Panelists will discuss the role of the courts in our communities and how people and organizations can better use the law as a catalyst for a bold, vibrant democracy for all people.
