Knatokie Ford

Through Fly Sci® Enterprise, Dr. Ford focuses on leveraging the power of storytelling to promote social change, particularly in STEM fields. A biomedical scientist, social entrepreneur and speaker, she has worked with a number of leading organizations, including YouTube, Disney, and Netflix where she consulted on Ada Twist, Scientist and inspired a character with her name and likeness. She was an Executive Advisor for the Association of National Advertisers’ SeeHer movement. Dr. Ford previously served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy where she designed and led the “Image of STEM” project. She received her PhD in Experimental Pathology from Harvard University and her BS/MS in Chemistry/Biological Chemistry from Clark Atlanta University.
