Sergei Polevikov

Sergei Polevikov is a Ph.D.-trained data scientist, AI entrepreneur, economist, and quant investor with over 30 academic manuscripts. As the author of the popular Substack newsletter “AI Health Uncut,” he provides brutally honest insights from his experiences as a healthcare AI startup founder, WellAI, and private equity investor. Sergei has spearheaded significant AI projects, including developing an AI-assisted Digital Front Door ecosystem for clinics and a pioneering COVID-19 application for clinical researchers. He is an active member of the IFCC’s AI and Genomic Diagnostics International Working Group (WG-AIGD) and a peer reviewer for Springer Nature. Currently, Sergei focuses on AI's role in clinical practice, diagnostics, primary care, and ethical standards in healthcare.
