Clinton Purtell, PhD
Clinton Purtell, PhD, a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, is the Associate Director of the Jim McNatt Institute for Logistics Research and professor of Aviation Logistics and Operations at the University of North Texas. An Executive Scholar from Northwestern University (Kellogg) and an American Indian Graduate Center Fellow, Dr. Purtell has over 20 years of industry experience, including roles in strategic procurement and fleet transactions at American Airlines and Southwest Airlines. His research on advanced air mobility (AAM), unmanned aerospace systems (UAS), and supply chain innovation is published in top-tier journals. He is involved in funded research on drone use-case development, supply chain resiliency, and dual-use technologies.
