Mitra Darab

Mitra Darab, a 25-year music industry veteran, started her career at Geffen Records in the Sales and A&R departments. She spent 15 years at Warner Bros. Records where she was VP of Marketing overseeing projects by Madonna, Michael Bublé, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Regina Spektor, among others. Most recently, she served as EVP of Global Strategic Marketing at Capitol Music Group where she oversaw the Marketing, Digital and International depts. and led projects by Sam Smith, Niall Horan, Katy Perry, Migos and Lil Yachty. As of August 2023, Mitra is the President of the HYBE x Geffen Records JV at HYBE America. In 2024, Mitra was named to Billboard’s prestigious “Women in Music” list.
