Ben Morris

Ben Morris is a Creative Director at Industrial Light & Magic and a founding member of the company’s London studio, which was established in 2013. His recent work includes overseeing ILM’s contributions to ABBA Voyage, a revolutionary new concert featuring ABBA, performing digitally with a live band in a 3,000 capacity arena in London. Morris began his career as a Model Maker and Animatronics Engineer at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, where he designed performance-control systems for various films. He became a Primetime Emmy and VES Award recipient for his contributions to the mini-series Dinotopia. Morris later earned an Academy Award® and a BAFTA for Best Visual Effects for his work on The Golden Compass.
