Stacy Shoemaker Rauen

Stacy Shoemaker Rauen graduated in 2001 from Northwestern University with a master’s degree in magazine journalism. Shoemaker Rauen began temping, first at Vogue and then at Traditional Home, working in the marketing department on their showhouse design tours. In 2002, Shoemaker Rauen joined Hospitality Design magazine. Since then, she has worked her way up to editor-in-chief of Hospitality Design Magazine, a role she assumed in 2014. In 2018, she was appointed VP of the Hospitality Design group, and then senior vice president of the Design Group, overseeing Hospitality Design and Boutique Design, which includes HD magazine, HD Expo + Conference, HD Summit, HD NextGen Forum, HD Awards, HD Platinum Circle Awards Gala, HD CitySCENE, HD SiteSeeing, BDNY, Boutique Design magazine, and BD Forum
