Ugo Iroku
Dr. Ugo Iroku is a board-certified NYC gastroenterologist with a clinical focus on inflammatory bowel disease and a fervent advocate for health equity and education.
He co-founded the Association of Black Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists (ABGH. Dr. Iroku's contributions extend beyond clinical practice. He has played a pivotal role in shaping national medical practice guidelines for the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable and has been featured in media series such as WIRED Magazine’s Tech Support Series and Business Insider’s Debunked Series. Dr. Iroku holds a medical degree from Harvard Medical School, a Master’s in Health Science from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and executive business training from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
