The Broadside Hacks Folk Club
Broadside Hacks serves to bridge the gap between established folk artists and institutions in the UK with new artists working in creative ways to explore the genre. It has programmed gigs across the UK with esteemed artists such as Peggy Seeger, Andy Irvine, Bruce Molsky, and The Pogues, as well as popular contemporary artists like Daisy Rickman, Muireann Bradley, and Shovel Dance Collective. The Broadside Hacks label has released work from some of the genre’s leading new artists, including The New Eves, Goblin Band, and Milkweed.
Broadside Hacks have won widespread acclaim from the likes The Guardian, The Times, The Quietus, BBC Radio 2’s Folk Show, CLASH and So Young, for bringing the folk tradition to new generations of audiences.
