A constantly freezing man in his forties drives to a lonely petrol station every evening and orders a microwaved Toast Hawaii. Detlev indulges in this in a bizarre ritual, because it's the only thing that warms him in his daily life. But when he is observed by a stranger one night, his world begins to crumble into shameful pieces.
A distressed woman’s soliloquy. “That woman” comes to her city for a short stay, bringing her the rain season from home. Inexplicable sensations torment her mind and body like mold, so she sinks into the reeds that grow out of the wounds on her finger. This film exposes a young woman's meandering feelings about sex and motherhood in relation to her chaotic perception of time.
