Primarily Primates, Inc. (PPI) provides lifetime care and housing to homeless, abused, and abandoned animals, mostly primates. To celebrate our first year at SXSW, we're joining forces with Film Crew for Apes, to build new play scapes for chimpanzees.
Primarily Primates, Inc. (PPI) is a non-profit organization in Bexar County, Texas, that operates an animal sanctuary, providing lifetime care and housing to more than 200 animals, mostly primates, saving them from death or continued exploitation. These animals have been rescued from the exotic pet trade, the entertainment industry, and from biomedical research. PPI does not breed, sell, trade, or use animals commercially.
