Podcasting has been an important marketing and advertising channel for years, but recently the medium has emerged as one of the key channels for influencer marketing. Recent studies from both Sounds Profitable and CoHost have shown that the podcast audience wants to hear more about the brands and products they are passionate about, and that brands are relying more and more on the deeper engagement possible in podcasts.
