Representing a Client Charged With Murder--It's Not Like TV
A lawyer, a mitigation investigator, as forensic psychologist, and a paralegal/case manager discuss the realities of representing a person charged with murder, and perhaps facing the death penalty. This very experienced team of professionals will share their experiences handling the most serious cases in our legal system. The focus is on how we develop mitigation evidence and the use of forensic psychology to humanize our clients. We will also explore the realities and challenges of developing trust and rapport with the client, the client's family, and often with the victim's family.
