Building Responsible Tech with the Latinx Community
Amidst rapid AI development and its impact on education, workforce, safety nets, and health – coupled with demographic changes by 2030 – investing in Latinx talent is crucial. Currently, the Latinx community represents only 8% of the tech workforce and a mere 1% of tech leadership roles. The U.S. must adopt policies that significantly invest in this young, growing cohort of innovators. This session explores the infrastructure, investments, and policies needed to ensure AI development includes Latinx innovators.
