Cities and Buildings Leading the Water Reuse Revolution
As extreme drought continues across the U.S., cities are protecting public freshwater resources with an innovative new strategy: by having buildings recycle their own wastewater. This session gathers panelists from public and private sector organizations implementing onsite water reuse technology, which recycles up to 95% of a building’s wastewater and reduces its environmental footprint and its strain on centralized infrastructure. Panelists will discuss how cities from Austin and San Francisco to Los Angeles and New York are using these technologies to change how buildings use water.
