Although it has been many years in the making, no one would disagree that the past year has seen Música Mexicana reach mass fandom among a diverse group of music fans. A new generation of artists like Xavi, Ivan Cornejo, and Natanael Cano has come onto the scene, imbuing this traditional musical form with brand new energy.
