Embracing The Complex: Designing for Kinship and Compassion
A new genre of interactive storytelling has emerged that centres the representation of overlooked experiences and underserved communities. Moving beyond cognition into the messy soup of the visceral, how do these new and complex approaches to storytelling retain an ancient and fundamental aspect of us? Acknowledging the complexity of human experience, this panel will explore how new multimodal storytelling embracing smell, taste, touch and sound can shine a light on the unseen, to create meaningful change, and impact across a range of sectors and spaces.
