Financing Food Fast: Blended Capital and the Race to 2030

Date TBA

The United Nations Environment Programme recognizes that 30% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions come from the food sector, and the World Bank calls for $300-$650bn every year for the next 10-15 years to be invested in food innovation, declaring that Food Tech is Climate Tech. Yet only 2%–4.5% of climate tech funding is spent on food tech. So how are we going to ramp up funding to scale the innovations that will radically bring down our emissions by 2030? Four sector experts from different parts of the finance spectrum come together to debate and discuss a roadmap to financing food fast.
