Globally, 43% of agricultural workers are women, making them central to how and what the world eats. Yet all ten of the world’s top food companies are run by men. This mismatched representation has contributed to a flawed food system where profit is prioritized over human and planetary health. The good news? Women are transforming our food system to be better for people, producers, and the planet. Leading a regenerative revolution, these women are setting the gold standard for farming, uplifting indigenous female farm communities in the global south, and disrupting the industry.
