This Experience Campfire will be an informal mix of small group and whole group sessions, where experts share approaches on how to stage better experiences. We'll focus on experiences people have been to at SXSW—analyzing what's good, what could be better—no finger pointing, just building on what's possible. We'll consider experience design moments & challenges, e.g., onboarding/crossing the threshold; design for emotion (e.g., challenging emotions); the (over)use of tech; the importance of identity, purpose, participation & story; and how to design for transformation and impact.
