The Me Too Movement: At the Intersection of Healing and Tech

Date TBA

Seven years ago the world was forever changed when the #metoo hashtag went viral revealing among other things the sheer number of people who are survivors of some form of sexual violence around the world when more than 12M people responded to the hashtag in 24H. Nearly a decade later the discussion continuous to focus on sensational media rather than solutions grounded in healing and action. This session will dive into the innovative ways the actual movement has progressed during this time to support millions of survivors in finding post traumatic growth while working to end sexual violence.
