Jessamine Burgum is the Founder/CEO of Pinky Promise, an indie production firm who brings stories to life that are written by, for, and about underrepresented voices. They’ve produced/financed films like “I Don’t Understand You”, the Pamela Anderson-led "The Last Showgirl," and their debut feature “Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul.” Along with President Kara Durrett, they’ll discuss their producing paths that led them to Pinky Promise, what's missing from the industry, and how they hope to empower filmmakers through their work.
