As the climate urgency for widespread, rapid building decarbonization mounts, smart building technologies have been critical to optimizing energy use and efficiency. These resource savings are significant and important but are often achieved reactively. Proactive and predictive building optimization is essential for further emissions reductions, requiring full-scale OT/IT systems integration with AI in the driver's seat. This talk explores the ins-and-outs of autonomous buildings and their role in eliminating the real estate industry's carbon footprint once and for all.
