Quantum computing has the potential to accomplish many great things. It also has the potential to bring great harm. Like it or not, this quickly developing technology presents serious threats to our defense, financial, transportation, energy, shipping, and supply chains that must be addressed. Today we are vulnerable to hacking and ransom attacks and it scares the hell out of us. When AI and Quantum combine in the not too distant future, those not prepared will face unprecedented peril.
