SXSW Pitch: AgTech & Food
SXSW Pitch is a platform that allows early-stage technology startups to pitch their product and/or services to industry technology experts, high-profile media personnel, and venture capitalists/angel investors.
AgTech & Food refers to technologies within agriculture, horticulture, and aquaculture that improve yield, increase efficiency, and/or reduce environmental impact. Examples include food sustainability, farm data, soil microbe data, crop protection, biofertilizers, supply chain transparency, agri-food testing, alternative proteins, animal health, aquaculture, farm management software, hydroponics, vertical farming, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and precision agriculture.
The winner of the AgTech & Food Technology category will be announced at the SXSW Pitch Awards Ceremony, which will take place on Sunday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m. in Salon H on the 6th floor of the Hilton Austin Hotel.
Also, attendees can make face-to-face connections with all 70+ SXSW Pitch finalists for 2025 at the special “Meet the Finalists” event on Monday, March 10, at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Griffin Hall on the 2nd floor of the JW Marriott.
