Media and “Masculine Energy"

Mar 9, 2025

3:30pm – 4:10pm CT

Over the past ten years, a host of concerning statistics have emerged illustrating the challenges young men in America are facing. With increased rates of anxiety, depression, addiction, and suicide amid sharp declines in work force participation, graduation rates and financial independence, it appears that men in the US are facing their own national health crisis

In this insightful discussion, Scott Galloway and Samantha Skey explore the complex definition of masculinity and the role that public figures, personal relationships, and the media play in shaping societal expectations of young men. They will examine how increasingly polarizing narratives impact identity, ambition, and emotional well-being, and how we can facilitate greater access to health resources for young men seeking support.
