Mark Cuban Induction Into SXSW Hall of Fame
The SXSW Hall of Fame recognizes those trendsetters whose career accomplishments have paved the future in a variety of industries. These honorees inspire the SXSW community with their creativity and hard work in the digital industries.
Investor and lifelong entrepreneur Mark Cuban will be the 2025 inductee into the SXSW Hall of Fame. Cuban has started and built multiple industry-changing organizations including costplusdrugs.com, which sells medications at industry low pricing with total cost transparency, which he founded with Dr. Alex Oshmansky in 2022.
Over the last 25 years, Cuban has been a fixture at March Magic in Austin. As the CEO of broadcast.com (an early-stage Internet radio company), he was one of the first-ever keynote speakers in 1999 at what was then called SXSW Multimedia. Amongst his many other more recent appearances at the event, he participated in a fireside chat titled "Daring Disruption: Embracing Innovation Solutions in HealthCare" at SXSW 2024, led a panel titled "Unleashing the Entrepreneur in Everybody" at SXSW 2023 and spoke on a session titled "Accidental Entrepreneurs: Embracing Imperfection to Unlock Scale" at SXSW 2022.
The Hall of Fame induction occurs within the SXSW Innovation Awards Ceremony on the evening of Monday, March 10 in Ballroom D at the Austin Convention Center. The emcee for the 2025 SXSW Innovation Awards is Grammy Award nominated artist SaulPaul, a musician with a message.
