Stella and the Very Messed at Radio Day Stage at Rivian Park

Mar 15, 2025

1:00pm – 1:40pm CT

Radio Day Stage at Rivian Park

Stella and the Very Messed began as an idea spat from the imaginations of Stella Maxwell and David Hawkins, former members of Austin, TX based pop-rock band, Cruiserweight (Doghouse Records/Warner Music Group). While the band retains some key elements of their former band’s sound-- quick and to-the-point rock ‘n’ roll executed with high energy and painfully hooky melodies-- this new project also ventures into new territory, experimenting with more complex instrumentation and arrangements. Filling out their roster with Austin scene royalty, Chris Nine (Schatzi, Tender Wolf), Mohadev (Stop Motion Orchestra), and Sam Rich (Black Books, Broken Gold), Stella and the Very Messed are poised to release their second full length album, Big Familiar, in 2025.
