Ray and Paul Holmberg at Speakeasy
This performance is part of the showcase that starts on Friday, March 14 at Speakeasy
Ray and Paul are two brothers from the SF Bay Area who formed the band together when they were just 17 and 13 respectively. Ray and Paul’s raw lyrics and natural songwriting ability produce compelling songs that resonate with their ever-growing audience and make for electric live performances.
Ray and Paul grew up in a household full of music, playing often with their parents who are also lifetime musicians, and were influenced by records they heard from a young age from artists like Nirvana, The Pixies and The Velvet Underground, which made up the soundtrack of their childhood.
This year they've been touring all over the West Coast, selling out numerous clubs along the way. This year Ray & Paul also recorded several new songs with John Goodmanson (Weezer, Pavement) and an EP with Jarvis Taveniere (Mild High Club, Surf Curse) to be released this summer. Check out their newest single "Tell Me" out now.
