8:00pm – 8:40pm CT

Flamingo Cantina

Muri is Muriel Gonzales, a Filipino singer-songwriter and violinist now based between London & Paris. A member of Manila’s pioneering indie folk band The Ransom Collective, Muri has evolved her career into an exciting solo journey, blending her signature violin swells with soulful melodies & introspective songwriting. Think Jorja Smith meets Arlo Parks, featuring Lindsey Stirling - Muri's live performance is a unique combo of neo soul pop energy, infused with simultaneous singing and violin playing.
Her debut EP, ‘11ème’, received widespread attention, with features in Billboard Philippines, Bandwagon, NME, & Earmilk. This follows earlier recognition with her single “Letters,” which earned nominations for Wishclusive Contemporary R&B Performance of the Year and Favorite Female Artist at the Wish Awards (the Philippine equivalent of the Grammys).
Her live performances span continents, from launching her debut EP in Manila, her first showcase at the 2024 AXEAN Music Festival in Bali to performing at Fête de la Musique in Paris.
Muri is now poised in her solo career to expand beyond Asia, building her presence in Europe and the US and taking the next steps to reach global audiences.
