Over the past few decades, Angelo steadily pioneered new frontiers of music totally unique to his own incredible musical artistry. Having risen to fame with the legendary L.A. based band Fishbone, Angelo has always been ahead of his time, coming up with styles and sounds that are still influential in much of today’s popular music.

Since 2012, Angelo has been stepping out in a new direction, redefining himself with the Brand New Step, collaborating with Austin-based band visionary, guitarist, song writer, and executive producer Kris Jensen; and Berkeley, Ca producer, keyboardist and songwriter Jim Greer.

Angelo Moore and the Brand New Step includes an incredible cast such as Del the Funky Homosapien, Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Claude Coleman Jr. (Ween), Casual (Hieroglyphics), Butterscotch, Hassan Hurd & JJ Jungle (The Coup), Ashish Vyas (Thievery Corporation), Stanton Moore & Robert Mercurio (Galactic), Tim Carter (Kasabian), Yunoka Berry (Cardboard People), James DePrato (Chuck Prophet), and the list goes on.

Together, as the Brand New Step, they seek to push the boundaries of music even further, crossing genres from funky soul dance to avant-garde psychedelic pop music.
