The Teeta began recording music in his teens with Austin's pioneering Hip-Hop group Team Next. Alongside the collective, he helped ignite a movement that reshaped Austin's Hip-Hop landscape in the late 2000s and early 2010s before branching off as a solo act in 2016.

His breakout release, Keys, earned him his first major blog placement with the now-defunct Mishka Bloglin, marking the start of a successful rebrand that expanded his reach beyond Texas. Over the years, The Teeta has cultivated a loyal fanbase across cities like New York, Seattle, Chicago, and Los Angeles while releasing multiple projects, singles, and collaborations with artists such as Yung Simmie, Chxpo, and Spaceman Zack.

Recognized as a leader of the "Next Generation of Austin Hip-Hop" by his peers and the Austin Chronicle in 2018, The Teeta has remained a staple in the city's music scene. Now, in 2025, he is set to return to SXSW as an official artist, bringing his high-energy performances and signature sound to the festival stage once again. With new music on the way and a growing national presence, The Teeta continues to push boundaries and solidify his impact in the industry.
