Math rock is the most apparent genre of Suichu Spica, but Suichu Spica is exploring a new music style where the female guitar-vocalist uses a highly sophisticated tapping technique on guitar while singing a catchy melody. Suichu Spica’s is aiming to fuse the instrumental music with Japanese style rhythms into rock and pop music, incorporating the elements of Emo, Post-rock, Shoegazing and other genres into Math rock, building a bridge that connects the genres and cultures through their music. 
Vo./Gt. Chiaki is also highly praised as an artist for Ibanez, Walrus Audio (USA), EarthQuakerDevices (USA), etc.
2018 - Formed in Kyoto, Japan
2021 - 1st Album “mEq” was released
2022 - 2nd Album “Osm” was released
2023 - Performed at notable music events, eg: FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL “Rookie A Go-Go”, hoshioto’23. The first overseas tour was held in Seoul, South Korea.
2024 - Expansion to China, Taiwan and Thailand. All tickets for the 7-show China tour were sold out. Performed at notable festivals overseas, eg: XIHU MUSIC FESTIVAL (CN), ROCK IN TAICHUNG (TW).
2025 - 3rd Album “Lux” was released on 15 Jan.
