Wax Owls

Date TBA

Blending indie-folk with acoustic and ambient elements, Los Angeles-based band Wax Owls formed in 2020 when Chris Tsaganeas and Gerry Hirschfeld met through mutual friends. Their mellow sound, described by EARMILK as having "a captivating folk air...present in every release", evokes comparisons to Bon Iver, Novo Amor, Hollow Coves, Dustin Tebbutt, and The Paper Kites.

Since their inception, Wax Owls have been played on LA's KCSN radio, performed at Bonnaroo festival in 2022, and had their track "Bring The Rain" featured in Grey's Anatomy.

Wax Owls’ deeply personal debut EP "Cowboy Cologne" explores themes of resilience, self-discovery and finding light in the darkest of times, perfect for moments of quiet reflection and introspection.
