Little Wilderness is a dynamic rock band born from the rugged landscapes of Southwest Colorado, fusing the raw energy of rock ‘n’ roll with the untamed spirit of the Four Corners region. Since forming in 2011, they’ve become a staple of Durango’s music scene, with Paul Henderson (guitar/vocals), Dan Szabo (lead guitar), Juan Lopez (bass), and David Sachs (drums) driving their electrifying sound.

Their 2019 debut album, Big Tent (Flak Records, Austin), showcases their sonic versatility—melding garage rock grit, indie sensibilities, and Americana influences. Tracks like the high-octane “Crazy World” and the roots-infused “Narrow Gauge” highlight their range, while songs such as “Laid Low” and “Starting New” channel a timeless, hard-hitting rock ethos.

Fresh off performances at SXSW 2023 and 2024, as well as opening for Denver’s Dragondeer and playing local festivals, Little Wilderness continues to carve out a space where unfiltered rock ‘n’ roll thrives.
