Meg Remy is established as one of the most acclaimed songwriters and performers to emerge from Toronto’s eclectic underground music scene. As the creative force behind the musical entity U.S. Girls, her celebrated discography spans 15 years. Meg has toured extensively through Europe and North America, establishing a reputation for politically astute commentary and theatrical performances. U.S. Girls has been nominated for 3 Polaris and 3 Juno awards. Extensive features and articles in New Yorker, NY Times, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork , the list goes on . Played major festivals around the world : Coachella, Primavera , Pitchfork, Gov. Ball, etc . Meg Remy published her first book in 2021 "Begin by Telling", a second book is in the works. Remy has also just scored her first film "Dead Lover" directed by Grace Glowicki, the film premiered at Sundance and is screening at SXSW.
