"Metome" is a three-piece rock band based in Nagoya,
formed in spring of 2022 by three girls with different hometowns –
Kobayashikana (Vocals,Guiter) 21 years old, from Nagano Prefecture),
Mimo Kotomi (Bass, Chorus, 22 years old, from Wakayama Prefecture),
and Kukku (Drums, Chorus, 22years old, from Aichi Prefecture).
In 2022, They impressively passed the audition
"Derenno!? Samasoni!?" and went on to perform at "SUMMER SONIC 2022,"
only six months after they formed a band.
In March 2023, they released their debut recording, the "1st Single,"
through digital distribution. In May, they released their
first mini album titled “Koubutsu.”
The essence of "Metome" lies in the messages
filled with love for music that are woven
into their lyrics, and their songs directed towards
the young people and fellow bandmates who gather at live houses,
born from the everyday lives of the three members dedicated to
their band activities. The simple and straightforward rock sound
created by their unique three-member lineup is truly
remarkable and captivating.
