WEIRD BLOOM is a Rome-based psych pop and bubble glam band.
The project, started in 2015 has 3 records to his credit: Hy Brazil (2016), Blisstonia (2018) and Stargate (2024),
featuring a quirky use of cartoon saturated guitars, where frontman's Luca Di Cataldo’s psych hippie melodies move on a wall of harmonies and pumping early 70s drum grooves.
The band appeared at SXSW 2017 and 2018, when the song "My Dear Elena Summer’s Vudun" was featured on Robin Hilton’s NPR SXSW 2018 best picks.
