Honky Tonkin’ in Queens is the best country music party in NYC. A monthly series that hosts artists from all over the US, DJs Moonshine and Prison Rodeo play country classics on vinyl 45s to a crowd of two-steppers and line dancers. They are then setting the stage for artists ranging from The Cowpokes to Lola Kirke to Charley Crockett to 49 Winchester, to name a very few. The show has seen 2+ years of packed dance floors at Queens’ 100+ year old Gottscheer Hall— with every show selling out in advance. In addition, Moonshine and Prison Rodeo regularly DJ around New York City and the US—appearing at Stagecoach and the White Horse Austin’s anniversary show in 2024.
