Plan Sonidero is an Austin based 7 piece cumbia band that is full of energy and is the most authentic when it comes to Mexican sounds and rhythm. Each member has a different background that ranges from Mexico all the way to Nicaragua. You will hear a keyboard, a bass guitar, and 5 different percussion pieces, no drum set. When it comes to cumbia, we KNOW cumbia.

Plan Sonidero es un grupo con 7 integrantes llenos de energia y es el mas autentico cuando se habla de sonidos Mexicanos y ritmo. Cada miembro tiene una descendencia diferente que va desde Mexico hasta Nicaragua. Vas escuchar la acordeon, teclados, bajo, y 5 diferentes piezas de percusiones. Cuando se trata de cumbia, nosotros CONOCEMOS la cumbia.

Currently we gig in Austin and anywhere close by. We started working on our first Album, we will have that up on our page as soon as it is finished. Our goal is to spread our music all over Austin, and expand from there!
