Hi, I’m Heather Paz, but most people in the music scene know me as DJ Heavuhh. I’m 31 years old, and my journey into DJing started in April 2024. I’ve always loved music, but taking that first step behind the decks felt like opening a door to a whole new world. In May 2024, I played my first public set, and the energy from the crowd that night was unreal. It was such a rush to see people vibing and dancing to the music I was playing—it made me realize I was exactly where I belonged. I’m all about versatility in my sets. I love mixing it up and playing a variety of genres, but Latin music holds a special place in my heart. In August 2024, I landed my first residency at Bald Kitty in Houston, where I host Latin Night. It’s been an amazing experience to create a space where people can come together and feel the rhythm of the music. On top of that, I also get to bring Latin beats to Boondocks every third Friday of the month, which is always a fun, high-energy vibe. This journey has been incredible so far, and I’m so grateful for everyone who’s supported me along the way. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.
