Austin-based choir, Inversion was founded in 2017 to showcase the professional creative talents of local composers and local singers. Under the leadership of co-founder and Artistic Director, Trevor Shaw, Inversion has premiered over 200 original music compositions. Inversion has also expanded as an organization to include a professional treble-only (sopranos/altos) choir and Coda, a community choir for volunteer singers over the age of 50. Inversion has collaborated with major artists beyond Austin, including Kronos Quartet, comic book author Greg Pak (World War Hulk), and composer Juhi Bansal.
