Baby Sam
Baby Sam's story is a powerful tale of resilience, faith, and music. Born in Southwest Houston, he grew up with a strong connection to both his neighborhood and his family roots in the notorious 3rd Ward. Tragedy struck early in his life when Dominique, was hit by a car at just six years old, leaving Baby Sam to fend for himself as his mother returned to work. Despite the hardship, Baby Sam taught himself how to walk again, displaying fierce determination that would shape the rest of his life.
Music was a constant companion for Baby Sam, and he became known for his freestyling abilities. While attending Westbury High School and later Willowridge High School, he eventually completed his education at a private school. Along the way, he gained a reputation not only for his talent in music but for his wisdom and ability to offer counsel to others, a skill that set him apart from many of his peers.
After holding various jobs a friend of the family urged him to take music seriously in which she paid for his first studio session and the rest is history! Over his 6 year career he’s worked with the likes of ESG, Berner, Snootie Wild and others.
