Caroline Hale
Maturity may not be the first quality music fans expect from a twenty-two-year-old, but with her debut album BFF, Austin-based singer/songwriter Caroline Hale delivers just that. Blending emotional sophistication, textured production, and exceptional craftsmanship, the tracks on BFF feel like the work of a seasoned artist rather than a newcomer.
A San Antonio native, Hale picked up the guitar at eight, inspired by the rich sounds of Texas, from Willie Nelson’s outlaw country to Stevie Ray Vaughan’s blues-infused rock. At fourteen, her talent caught the attention of Martin Strayer, a songwriter and producer with credits including Ariana Grande and The Chicks. Strayer mentored her in songwriting, alongside her own studies of hit songs, honing her craft.
Her first single, “We Both Do,” explores the complexities of a long-distance relationship and gained traction with major playlist placements. Hale’s live EP, Live at Stable Hall, further showcases her range and emotional connection with audiences.
Hale cites musical inspiration from Maren Morris and Kacey Musgraves. With more singles and a 2025 tour ahead, Caroline Hale has firmly established herself as a rising star.
