Tomar and The FCs
Tomar Williams got his start singing lead on the Chitlin Circuit with his family band in the late 1980s. In 2015, after several decades as a music producer and side man, Tomar decided to return to his roots as a frontman. He was introduced to a local instrumental band, the FCs, and Tomar and the FCs was born.
Over the last decade, the band has earned a reputation as one of Austin’s best live music bands with regular performances at iconic venues like the Continental Club, C-Boys, and Dan Electro’s in Houston. They have toured all over the country and have performed at ACL Music Festival, Old Settlers Music Festival, River Revival, SXSW, and Bonnaroo.
Tomar and the FCs has three recordings: the EP Day by Day, and albums Heart Attack and Rise Above. Their highly anticipated new album, Soul Searching, will be released this February.
