Lizzie Berchie
Lizzie Berchie is a singer-songwriter and producer born and raised in East London. Fusing her influences of R&B, neo-soul, jazz, reggae and highlife, Lizzie creates her own unique and infectious soulful sound that explores a multitude of essential themes including the celebration of life, love, and self-empowerment. Her musical influences span from Ella Fitzgerald to Jill Scott and Cleo Sol.
Lizzie released her debut EP ‘Under the Sun’ in the summer of 2022, the 5 tracks featured standout singles ‘Pass Time’ ft. Kofi Stone and ‘Growth’. The EP received praise for its skillful and ambitious blend of sounds spanning R&B, neo-soul and jazz.
A year later Lizzie followed up with her sophomore EP ‘Am I An Adult Yet?’. A down to earth declaration on the whirlwind roller coasters that come with young Black British womanhood, the EP sees Lizzie boldly summon feelings of questioning, searching, longing and uncertainty.
Elsewhere Lizzie has made considerable strides building her pedigree as a live act. After releasing ‘Am I An Adult Yet?’, Lizzie headlined London’s Omeara. In 2024 Lizzie has stayed active, touring with Noname and playing festivals and showcases across the UK and Europe.
