Elephant Kind
Elephant Kind is an indie-electronic band based in London made up of Bam Mastro, Kevin Septanto and Bayu Adisapoetra. Originally hailing from Jakarta, Elephant Kind became one of Indonesia’s biggest bands, garnering over 35 million streams. After almost a decade, they decided to embark on the next chapter of their creative journey. The band packed their bags and travelled over 7,000 miles to London in 2022 to explore the next phase of their artistry.
Compared to bands such as Young Fathers, LCD Soundsystem, Parcels and Jungle, they are continuing to expand their audience outside of Southeast Asia and have supported The xx and Franz Ferdinand. They performed on a sold-out UK tour in 2023 as well as major festivals this year including The Y Not Festival, Tramlines Festival, Wilderness Festival and Victorious Festival.
Their most recent string of releases such as, 'Louder', 'Good Times' and 'Lionel' have been championed by 6 Music, BBC Introducing and featured a live session with John Kennedy on his Radio X-posure show. 2025 is set to be their biggest year yet with a new album, headline tour around the UK, EUROPE and selected shows in the US.
